Witchery VR

Witchery is a VR game (HTC Vive) made by a team of students at Carnegie Mellon University's Game Creation Society

Welcome to the world of Witchery! Dive into the realm of the magical and wonderful as- Hey, that ghost just stole my couch!

Turns out a wicked witch made out of storm clouds has her eye on your home. Unfortunately for you, she's taken quite a shine to it. Armed with nothing but a brush wand, you must defend your cabin against her minions as she tries to take it away, piece by piece! Will you successfully fend off the magical mayhem, or will there be an empty crater where your house used to be? Who knows! Maybe you'll make some friends along the way! (☾‿★)

For me this was a small dream come true.  I was looking to try my hand at some game sound design around the time CMU Game Jam was going on.  I looked up the projects and contacted the one that looked cute and spooky.  Turns out they wanted help so I came to their studio and busted out their asset list in an afternoon.  I checked in a week later and the game was basically done.  All in all it was a very productive way to procrastinate on writing my thesis.  I think we won best game of the jam.
